Cali Desilets' s family ruled California. With her parents being billionaires, Cali got everything she wanted. Her father, Ronald Desilets a lawyer, making the big bucks whenever he went to work. Brittany Desilets, Cali's mom, owned the most expensive malls in L.A. and Hollywood. She made as much money as her husband. Cali's parents were almost never available to her or her sister, Noel. So Cali spent her time shopping or either flying to NYC, in her parent's private jet. Cali's parents never worried about there daughters, so one day they found Cali gone. Her sister was home, but didn't know where she could have gone. Cali was off partying late at night and was drinking. She was dead drunk, that she wasn't able to make it home. Her parent's went back to work, but Noël was left finding her little sister. She found her at her parent's nightclub, sprayled on the couch. She called the family's car and threw her sister inside. Her parents were worried and decided to cheer their girl's up by visiting their grandmother Nelson, who was daughter an Italian lawyer. They visited her in Georgia and Cali was impressed with her grandmother's inheritance.
Cali and Noël spent their time with their grandmother, while her parents helped Nelson with her inheritance. Nelson's father died, but she was always her father's favorite daughter. She moved to the U.S. and spent her life in her mansion, managing her model agency, making tons of bucks from her fashion line. Cali went to a prestigious boarding school in San Diego. Her grandmother always urged her to live with her, making her a model, but Cali was above all the model's standards. When Cali heard of Appleberry, she sure wasn't going to it. But her grandmother would pay for what she needed including shipping her mother's expensive clothing. Sure then, her parent's didn't care whatever she did, so Cali was accepted into the school, with a scholarship.
