Then, at the age of 8 she received what at the time she thought was a horrid gift a little brother. Kristina hated her younger brother Tyler at first because she was prettier, smarter and her parents gave him everything he wanted exactly when he wanted but when it was discovered that Tyler had autism and a few other learning disabilities. Her parents cast the young boy into the shadows not wanting a disabled son but not having the heart to put him up for adoption. Kristina became her younger brother's carer she bathed him, fed him and basically did everything her parents sent him to a school for disabled children thinking that normal school would be too hard for him. Kristina knew otherwise because she started teaching Tyler some of the things she was learning and he got everything math question right. She got his IQ tested when they were 11 and he scored 189 one the IQ test making him a genius. Kristina tried to tell her parents but they had all but forgotten their youngest child in favor of their eldest.

Kristina was now on the receiving end of her parents every whim she got whatever she wanted, when she wanted, she got all the latest styles and games she started riding at the age of 10 when her brother started for therapy she was a natural at it so her parents bought her, her first horse a an arabian mare named starry nights. When Starry Nights was too low skilled for Kristina so they bought her another horse and when they got too low skilled for Kristina they got her, her current horse Mist's of Pandaria other wise know as Panda. Kristina came to Appleberry when she discovered how advanced the schooling was and how good the riding was. Kristina's brother Tyler still went to a for learning disabled children so he wasn't getting the advanced learning he was capable of.
