preston was born as a healthy baby boy in the little-known town of green bay, wisconsin, to a confused mother and an extremely proud father. up until the age of six, he was an only child and lived with his parents in a small, yet cozy, bungalow in the suburbs of green bay. and then, his parents announced another baby and preston became a big brother - a very jealous one, at that. victoria james became the number one priority to his mother and preston couldn't help but envy the sparkling blue-eyed, dazzling blonde-haired baby girl who had suddenly stolen the family's attention out from underneath him. he was confused and lonely for a long time, since he was too young to understand it all. when preston was ten and victoria (or tori) was four, their mother packed up and left in the middle of the night, leaving the family reeling and wondering what in the hell they could have done differently.
preston grew to like living solely with his football-obsessed, all american, junk food junkie father. they spent most days of preston's tenth year tossing a baseball, shooting hoops or practicing punts and tackles for preston's oncoming, football-filled future, and most nights watching games, pigging out on junk food and tossing their shirts in the air whenever the home team got a point. so pretty much, preston was living the lifestyle of a bachelor, completely wrapped up in a mancave.
when middle school began, preston had become quite the handsome young lad, and muscular, too. of course, this was do to workouts and countless days spent playing football and going to practices for pretty much every sport you can think of- hockey, basketball, football, soccer, baseball. he became totally obsessed with the sports lifestyle and he was his father's sole pride and joy. he always scored the winning goal, basket or touchdown and he became the most popular jock through junior high and his first couple of years of high school. he dated countless girls, went to countless parties and got countless invitations from universities looking for a boost for their sports teams.
and then, one day after school, preston came home to find his mother and father deep in discussion on the living room sofa. for one, he hadn't seen his mother in six years, or even heard from her, for that matter. he had been sure that tori had kept contact with mother but he hadn't. his parents had come to a decision to ship him off to appleberry crest academy, due to the fame of their sports teams and their elite academic standards. apparently, mother had been planning for this as she forked over enough money for preston to finish high school at aca, and then she was gone and so was preston. after, of course, the most insane going away party of that year- and years past.
