History: compton's oldest brother warren was the only other rider in her family. she remembered being ten years old and being taken to watch warren compete in local shows. compton started to become fascinated with the sport, starting lessons when she turned twelve.
she rode only schooling horses until she turned fifteen.
by that time, comp had moved on from local shows to more regional competitions. she wasn't into the frieze of the competition, instead more of the pleasure of riding. levi was her first and only horse that she had ever owned. levi had floated around several different families before he ended up in the linwood's family. quickly they developed a close bond, despite only being with each other for a few short months
