[style=float: left; background: #000000; padding: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px; margin-left: 5px;] month day, year. How do you tell the difference between a queen bee and a wanna-be (or, wanna-bee if you want to get a little punny)? Well, it's actually quite easy, when you understand the main idea of the two titles. Let's take resident bitch Sammie Leger of ACA as an example. We like to call her a Queen Bee. Why? Well, because she's the girl you love to hate. Admit it or not, you're a little (or a lot) scared of her - maybe you hate her but you wouldn't mind being her? Well, in my opinion, this girl knows how to get to the top and stay there, but she has her own way of doing it. Sure, being widely hated isn't the ideal way to live life but if that's her weapon of choice, then Sammie Leger will be Sammie Leger. Anywho, back to the whole title thing. Wanna-be's usually look like they're thinking hard. They might look forced, confused, practiced, like every movement is strategically planned in their head. Whereas queen bees usually don't take any missteps, always look like they're so much better than you, can find their way around with ease and maneuver their ways around like the 10th take on a movie set. How about an example of a wanna-be? Hm... That's a harder label to find, isn't it? Spencer Branston may be on the verge of wanna-be identity, but seeing the devil in prada Sammie Leger take the girl under her wing has boosted her status in the slightest. Wanna-be's will usually start rumors to get more people talking to them and asking them questions, and they'll try hard to associate with the legit queen-bees. Anyway, I hope I've helped you indulge in the workings of mean girl territory in high school. Until next time. -Concerned citizen [/style] |
