ello friends! glad to see you all again! first off, I would like to apologize for my notable absence. the past couple of weeks have been rather insane, if i saw so myself i feel the need to rant, you have been warned
a few weeks ago, i have try-outs for my highschool's cheer team. this year i was captain of our freshman team so i decided to try out again. i made JV, which is the highest team a coming sophomore (like me) could make. so tryouts had lasted a week, which sucked
after that, i have had a series of state tests over the past weeks, which also sucks. finals are coming up along with the last chance to bring those grades the highest they could possibly be.
then last night was the end of a three-day long tryout for my All-Star Competitve Cheer Gym. i dont find out the results from my tryouts till monday but I wanted to inform you on my current position.
For the tryout, the coaches would call up six people at a time. my number was towards the end so i have a long way to go. by the time they got to my group, my muscles were stiff and cold. during the first skill i have to demonstrated (double toe-touch to double backhandsprings), bmy lower back down to my left ankle's muscles stretched and near ripped. it was quite painful but i had to keep going. i showed two more skills, (standing triple backhandsprings and a round-off backhandspring tuck) before I was realized.
needless to say i wont be doing anything in a while. its not a major injury, just one that is painful and sore.
kk rant/complaining over. my attendance here will be on and off, depending on my schedule.
