Oh my god, Holly O'Hara was doing it. It is official. She could call herself a nerd because who else would decide to sit their lunch period in the music room with a keyboard? Nobody, nobody who had a life that is. Holly O'Hara did have a life though, it just tended to revolve around music, notes, and glee club. Sometimes though, she wished they wouldn't call it that, because it's not like she busted out into song in the middle of the day. Scratch that, Holly O'Hara didn't have a musical monologue unlike those kids over on Disney Channel. They were going to get a rude awaking when they went off to college and realized that they were the only musical high school out there. But those were not the worries that she had currently, it was song choices for Glee Club, because the young girl seemed to do nothing but clash heads with their leaders.
"Ughs, song choices," she muttered to herself as she grabbed her back and started to ruffle through a binder and loose papers to get her notes and threw them on the bench with her. Concentration would be needed to get through this and therefore, Holly also produce a can of Monster Energy. Cracking it open, the sound of fizz filled the room around her and tug a strand of loose brunette hair behind her ear. Even though she was staring at her list though of what to try and get people to listen to, Holly found herself not being able to concentrate, not for now at least. Flipping the keyboard on, she switched it over an electric sound, and allowed her fingertips to dance over keys, "My mouth is frozen so I can't even speak...What a disappointment, I had it perfectly..." and thus, started her lunch break.

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place ) The step monster may have sent her away, but there was no way she could keep her and Kasey separated forever. Carrie Summers vowed that to her little heart that she would be back with him. For now though, it seemed she would have to settle for the East Coast until being reunited because that was the beautiful thing about school: it had breaks and didn't last forever. Carrie supposed that she could not complain though, she didn't have to tough it out at Appleberry alone for she already had friends here that she knew from long ago. Funny how the world worked in such a way, but the rich and famous in California always knew each other, and they never forgot each other either.
Plus, she had adapted well for being here for a while, but that might have been just thanks to her newly adopted friend group. Still, there were many stones left to up turn. One of them being Glee Club, another being Equestrian Teams. Two big deals around here, and ironically enough, a big deal in her life as well which was a shocker really, usually her world just revolved around sex. Leave it to being sent away to give her something else to think about, but it could also have been from a gentle nudge of her friend. Good old boys. Seeing a big, fat old sign pointing in the direction of the auditorium, Carrie followed it's pointing arrows before she heard the familiar sound of a keyboard. Pushing the door open, she wandered inside to see a single girl with a energy drink.
From behind, Carrie found herself almost certain that she was dealing with one of those 'alternative girls'. A slight sigh escaped her, uncertain of what to make of this and her crazy ear monstrosities but her judgement faded just a little when the girl started to sing. Somebody had fine music tastes indeed. She waited for the chorus and then dared to jump in, harmonizing with the girl, "What I mean is, all I need is Just a little emotion...Cause all I see is you not feeling...And you're giving me nothing nice...I tried to do you right...why'd you have to go and turn to ice?" Carrie could not help but to smile now as she sauntered over to the keyboard and the girl now, smiling, "You have good taste in music my friend. I just like, love LIGHTS. I'm Carrie by the way. Carrie Summers."

Wow, she must have really been caught up in the music because never before has someone snuck up on her like that before. One minute, Holly O'Hara had been singing by herself, the next, there is someone harmonizing with her. She finished the line before stopping abruptly, glancing over her shoulder now to see another girl. To say that they were total opposites might be a stretch, purely because of how well the girl could sing, but other than that, they were. In fact, one look at her and Holly thought that she might be staring at the school slut but she found herself also quite positively certain that Appleberry had plenty of those as well. Blue grey eyes glanced her over for a minute before turning a bit more on the bench to stare at this new girl completely.
"You like LIGHTS?" Well, no duh Holly, she just said it. There was something else though about this girl that struck her though, and it didn't have anything to do with how she dressed or how she sung. Something else, maybe a name. Carrie Summers. It sounded simple enough, and Holly found herself a little certain that she may be hearing it a little more often now, "Wait, are you Teague Caine's friend?" If that is the case, the young woman already knew where this girl would hang, and most diffidently not in Glee Club, since you know, that's were the nerds hung out. Although surprisingly enough, some members were pretty high on the social ladder already. The difference is though is that Holly never cared. But, if she was Teague Caine's friend, that also meant another thing, and everything just clicked right into place, "Aphrodite's Chasity. Damn Carrie Summers, I didn't recognize you right off the bat. I guess we are friends then."

Somehow, she just couldn't help but to smirk at that and it didn't take long for her to realize her own social mistake, "Yeah, I do. Any girl who duets with Adam Young is simply worthy of my attention and money." Besides, the lyrics were cute in a childish way and there was nothing wrong with that. Sure, it wasn't what Carrie liked to sing about with her band but to each their very own. Not to mention, she'd still serenade somebody with that song. Well, not Kasey, but a friend she would. And then there came what felt like the million dollar question to Carrie, and it seemed like finally, she and little glee club girl might be getting some where.
"I am Teague's friend, glad to hear that somebody recognizes that," first time that she was actually here full time though. All of her other appearances at Appleberry had simply been visitation only. Well, now thanks to the stepmonster, she was here on sadly a regular basis. Still, it couldn't be that bad. Teague was here and plenty of boys to sleep with to take off the betrayal of Kasey until she could get back to him without his meddling mother in the way. "So, does this mean you know Teague as well? Or do you just...visually know him?" Carrie asked now, and she was willing to bet a new Coach bag that it is the latter. This girl was certainly way too alternative for him or his friends, although, then what did that make his ex? She barely gave the thought much time though, seemed silly to.
Carrie laughed at the finally obvious statement, "Glad to know that you do recognize me for something other than Teague's friend. I was beginning to think I'd have to drop you hints," and that would be so depressing. Honestly, Aphrodite's Chastity got a lot of press before she was sent off here, stuck skyping her band as if she were some little child separated from her parents, "Indeed I am. And what can I say? Some people argue that I've gotten work done but I can assure you it's all a lie," she replied smoothly before sitting down on the piano bench next to her, "But I have to say, I do not know your name...or why you're here playing your little song." Her little comment about Adam Young couldn't help but to make her laugh a little. Any girl dressed like that, well, it was hard to believe that they listened to music like that, "Uh, yeah. Totally. I agree with you," Holly commented, still grinning like a cheshire cat. She still did not know what to make of the girl though, in fact, she seemed rather full of herself. But if one were to ask Holly O'Hara about who wasn't full of themselves at Appleberry Crest, the answer would have been very few. Plus, Carrie Summers just confirmed herself as Teauge Caine's friend, well then, it was rather clear as to whose group she was going to be running around with as well as getting trashed with, "What can I say, words travel fast as I'm sure you've heard." Holly commented now, watching her a keen interest.
Her next question caught her a little by surprise, "What? Oh no, I only know Teague by sight but I mean, who hasn't heard of the illustrious Teague Caine?" Holly countered now, "I mean, he's just one of these most eligible bachelors here." Though, that was that whole murdered sister thing which was a little bit of a turn off if one were to ask her. But nobody usually did. After all, Holly O'Hara usually just cared about her own future career with music and the current situations with Glee Club more than anything else. Drama llamas were everybody else and she didn't need to get caught up in that Hunger Games affair. If one were to ask her, she was surprised that nobody had ever gotten killed at this school on purpose. Shaking her head, she simply smiled, "Why never, I know my music acts better than anybody at this school." The work comment seemed to have struck a little nerve there, Holly managed to bite back a smile. While Carrie claimed that there hadn't been anything done, Holly bet if she pulled some pictures up on the internet, they'd beg to differ, "Well, I'm Holly O'Hara," she introduced herself now, turning back around to face to the piano as the other girl sat down next to her, "And I was thinking of new arraignments for Glee Club. Since, well, this is where we practice."
