History: Midnight and Sammie have been together since he was born. Back in New York City when she was about twelve years old, Midnight was her escape from all the scandal and lies of her life, even then. He was just a baby then, of course, and she broke him under saddle and worked him endlessly every night. Eventually, her Mother caught on and hired a professional trainer to get Midnight ready for the show ring. When Midnight was about four, Sammie's Mother sold him to the racing industry for a little over a fortune, which only made Sammie more nasty and mean. About half a year later, after many wins from Midnight Sun and a minor leg injury, Midnight was sold back to his original family and a little while later, Sammie came to Canterwood Crest with Midnight. They prospered and excelled there, him being an excellent showjumper and the two easily being the best pair in the school. Eventually, they graduated, as alpha male and queen bee, to Appleberry and here they continue to lead.

Personality: Midnight is feisty and quick, being off-the-track and full of energy, but he is also fun and friendly and won't nip or kick. He is a little spooky in the ring but he excels at shows and always gives wonderful performances. He is the best for Sammie, who he knows and loves more than anyone, and he always whinnies when he sees her.
