if you follow me, you'll only get lost [atrb=border,0,true] [style=width: 250px; height: 290px; padding: 0px 5px 0px 5px; font-family: calibri; font-size: 11px; text-align:justify; color: #333; line-height: 99%; overflow: auto] the light buzz of conversation in the air paired with the whirring of the espresso machines was warm, the small cafe just had an atmosphere of warmth, one that was welcomed as Alice ducked inside, escaping the icy rain that had been showering down for hours now. her hair was soaked and her cheeks were flushed a rosy pink. this was the weather the brunette was used to but after experiencing the warmth Georgia had to offer during the beginning of the school year, it was definitely a change. peeling off her top layers, she laid them across the back of her chair, claiming a table set in the corner. it had a window but it was also right next to a heater, so she was getting the best of both worlds. ordering her drink and a small snack, it didn't take long for her to get her pumpkin spice latte and cranberry orange scone. the small shop was actually pretty empty today, save from a few regulars. Alice herself was nearing that title as she'd started coming here often to do homework or else just escape campus life. pouring some cinnamon sugar into her drink, she began stirring as she hummed along with the song playing from the speakers. it was just loud enough for you to catch the music and an occasional word.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: F0FFFF; border-left: #7FFFD4 solid 15px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] WHEN WE WERE YOUNGER WE THOUGHT EVERYONE WAS ON OUR SIDE A chocolate milk shake was my guilty pleasure, and I needed one, stat. A new year had started and I had, slightly nervously, returned to Appleberry. After my huge falling out with Sammie at the end of last year, I was starting the year with no friends. I hadn't moved into my dorm yet, instead I had dropped off my things in the room and practically ran to the Sweet Shoppe. I ordered a small shake and paid with my pre-paid student card. I found a place to sit in the corner and started over. The Sweet Shoppe had the perfect atmosphere as a hang out place. The checkerboard table clothes and always burning fireplace gave the shop a warm and cozy atmosphere. Black chalk boards were covered in colorful writing describing each possible order. There were tables and chairs and couches surrounding a fireplace. I walked over to the table I had picked out. Suddenly I tripped over a bag and nearly fell on the floor. "Sorry!" I yelped, turning around and balancing myself.
THEN WE GREW A LITTLE BIT AND ROMANTICIZED THE TIME I SAW FLOWERS IN YOUR HAIR taggedwho? words # outfit polyvore outfit notes notes

"are you okay?" she questioned, rising halfway from her chair in case she had to go retrieve napkins or possibly order the girl a new drink. looking her over, she seemed fine, but alice waited to hear it from her. you never knew with people around here, they seemed to enjoy making a scene every chance they got. to be fair, she could have watched where she'd been walking, but alice was ready to accept the blame. still hovering above her seat by a few inches, she suddenly realized she'd seen this girl at school before, though she couldn't recakk ever having spoken to her. if her memory served her right, they kind of ran with different crowds. crowds that didn't mix all that well.
